To view all the promotions available go to All Discounts, which is visible in the top navigation menu on every page.
»How do I redeem a discount or promotion?
There are four redemption methods available:
- Voucher Code
- Click & Redeem
- Printable Coupon
Every promotion listed on Seniors Discounts will display one of these four redemption methods in the summary details of the promotion.
Voucher Code - Are mainly used on websites during the check out process. It will be a short code, which you will need to enter before completing the purchase to receive your discount.
* Some businesses, which don’t have an online checkout, may ask you to provide the voucher code by telephone or email before completing your purchase.
Click & Redeem - This method is used when businesses have already applied the discount on their website. You will be taken directly to the discount or promotion.
Printable Coupon - Used by physical stores or services such as restaurants, shops and tradesmen. You will need to print the coupon to obtain the discount.
Identification - Used in physical stores and services. All you need to do is show some form of identification which has your age on it. e.g. drivers licence.

Not all businesses operate the same way. Some businesses operate purely on the internet, others are traditional bricks and mortar stores or services. As we work with thousands of businesses we need to provide a simple and workable solution for both members and businesses for the redemption of discounts.

Seniors Discounts is constantly gathering and publishing discounts across the United Kingdom and we’re regularly contacting businesses to find more discounts for you. But we suggest you Get Involved and start sharing discounts you find with other members of our community.
»How much is membership?

The majority of our members are over 60. However, there is no fixed age limit to join.

You can register for free at membership registration.

You can log in at the very top right of every page. Otherwise, please visit member log in.

You will need to log in to your member dashboard and update your email in Account Settings.
»How do I unsubscribe?
You will need to log in to your member dashboard and update your subscription in Account Settings.
»Do I have a profile page?
Yes. Every member of Seniors Discounts has a profile page. It is used to display information you provide such as a photo and details about yourself, making it easier for other members to get to know you.
Your profile will also include:
- Your Reputation Level
- Promotions you have published
- Reviews written by you
- Number of Followers
- Messaging - so other members can contact you (optional)
We encourage all members to create an interesting and informative profile, with a picture of yourself, so other members can get to know more about you. However, we do recommend you only include details on your profile page that you’re happy for other members and people of the public to know.
Note: At no stage is any of your personal information such as email address made available to other members and visitors. Your personal information is strictly confidential and we take privacy very seriously.
»How do I set the privacy level of my Profile page?
There are three privacy levels you can choose from:
- Anyone can see your profile
- Only logged in members can see your profile
- Only your followers can see your profile
If you would like to adjust the privacy of your profile page just log in to your dashboard and update your Account Settings.

Every day Seniors Discounts is adding new discounts to the website for you to use so that you can save money. But when it comes to your local area we understand no one knows this area better than you. You know the shops, the services and are in touch with when promotions are made available or publicised to your local community.
By helping to uncover the promotions and discounts in your local area you will be building your reputation amongst your peers on Seniors Discounts. Not only will you get to benefit by using the discounts you find, other members will be grateful for your input as they will also be able to use the promotions you have published.
»What sort of promotions can I publish?
As our name suggests we want you to locate and publish senior discounts.
But that’s just the start.
A senior discount is not always the cheapest or best promotion available. Sometimes businesses offer other promotions which provide bigger savings, so if you come across a good deal you think other members could benefit from we want you to publish it.
»So I can publish a discount that is open to people of all ages, not just seniors?
That’s correct. If there is a good deal we don’t want you, or any of our members, to miss out. Our main aim is to save you money. If that means highlighting other good deals that are available so be it.
»Where should I start looking for promotions to publish?
Your local shops are a good place to start. You may know of a senior discount that is run by a local restaurant, tradesman or business? If not, on your next visit to your local shops you may want to ask a staff member if they have considered a discount for seniors? You will more than likely receive a discount on your purchase and you will have sourced a new discount which can be used by Seniors Discounts members in the future.
Other places you may find useful promotions - local newspapers, radio, TV advertisements and the internet.

Just go to Submit a Discount and enter the details of the discount or promotion.

Writing reviews helps other members of Seniors Discounts make informed choices. By writing a thoughtful and honest review of your experience with a business or promotion can help other members make better decisions.
By writing a review you will also be improving your reputation on Seniors Discounts.
»What sort of review should I write?
We’re looking for unbiased, objective and honest reviews which will be helpful to other members. If you have previously purchased a product from a business or used their services, a review outlining your experience would help. You may also have some useful tips for other members which can be included in a review.
»Can I write a Negative Review?
Of course. We know businesses don’t get it right all the time. However, our review section is not the place for members to stand on their soapbox and have a rant.
If a negative review is “helpful” to another member by all means write the review. If the review is not “helpful” and driven by personal motives please find an appropriate channel to voice your concerns.
»What is my reputation level?
As a new member you start off as a New Comer but with every action you take you will build your reputation. The more active you are the quicker you will move through the ranks - Resident, Adviser, Community Leader, Ambassador.
»Why do I want to build my reputation?
With each point you earn you with be improving your authority and reputation amongst your peers as a trusted voice to help other like-minded members save money. Members of Seniors Discounts, especially those who live close to you, will see you as an authority when it comes to discounts in your area.

They are following you because they are interested in what you have to say. The more active you are at publishing promotions and writing reviews the more followers you will likely have.
Any activity from members or businesses you follow will appear in My Discount Channel once you log in to your dashboard.
»What is My Discount Channel?
A live feed which automatically updates with promotions and notifications from the members and businesses you have decided to follow. Your Discount Channel allows you to personalise your experience so you can take advantage of discounts and promotions as they become available.
To view your Discount Channel you will need to log in to your dashboard and select My Discount Channel.
»Who should I follow?
By following a business you can keep up to date with their latest promotion and news.
As for members, you may want to follow members who are active in your local area. That way you can use new discounts as the become available.
