Help the Aged offers senior travel insurance for single trip and annual policies which cover Europe or Worldwide travel.
You will benefit from no upper age limits which is the case with a number of senior travel insurance providers. Plus, you can be covered for up to 90 days on a single trip.

You will also receive:

  • £10 million medical expenses


  • Cover for cancellation should your carer be ill and unable to travel with you


  • Automatic cover for wheelchairs or walking frames up to £300


  • Up to £2,500 luggage and personal possessions cover


  • Up to £300 cover for cash during the 72 hours preceding your planned journey


  • Cancellation cover for car hire



Currently their website doesn't include details of the terms and conditions for their senior travel insurance cover, and free no-obligation quotes are only provided over the phone.

A point to note - Before you decide to proceed with their quote check to confirm any excesses that need to be paid in the case of a claim. If you have a pre-existing medical condition it is worthwhile confirming it does not void your insurance.
