The Pension Service
The Government has set up The Pension Service, which is part of the Department for Work and Pensions. If you're 60 or over and living in Britain you are guaranteed a minimum income of:
- £114.05 a week if you're single; or
- £174.05 a week if you have a partner
If you're over 65 and have modest savings, investments and income you could be entitled up to an extra £17.88 if you're single and £23.58 if you have a partner.
