New WeLoveDates site for senior online daters

The WeLoveDates online dating website recently launched a new site to cater specifically for a more mature audience. The webmasters noticed that there was a growth in its senior member numbers, and concluded that these members needed their own web space.

This trend is ascribed to various factors, including the rising rate of divorce and the fact that seniors generally have more time and money on their hands than the younger generation.

The results of research by the WhiteLabelDating.com platform provider, indicating that senior dating is a fast-growing market, is therefore not so surprising.

Because dating is normally assumed to be a youthful interest, there is a significant part of the population that online dating sites do not cater for. The Media Syndicate website cited research showing that the number of potential online daters in their 50s and older come to more than 1,592,000.

In addition, about 75 per cent of this market lies in the affluent sector of society; these are the people with the disposable time and money. Much of this income and time go into surfing the internet not only for information, but also for the purpose of meeting new people and having fun.
