How much is annual membership?


£6.95 per year - less than 60p a month.

Why is an annual membership required?


Annual membership will play a vital role in growing the number of discounts and services available to you. Although the number of senior discounts has been growing steadily, the cost associated with sourcing new discounts is expensive. Your contribution will allow Seniors Discounts to actively pursue new discounts and opportunities on your behalf and aid in further developing the website.

What is included in my annual membership?

You will benefit from unlimited use of Seniors Discounts Price Check. The average saving for people who have requested a Price Check on electrical goods is £56.50 or the equivalent of 8 years membership. The saving made by one member who requested a Price Check on a car was £1008.00.

Please note: The purpose of Seniors Discounts Price Check is to make sure you're always getting the best price. We cannot guarantee our price review service will beat your quote every time, however, if we can't you can feel rest assured you're paying the best price currently available.

Do I have to be over a certain age to join?


Membership is open to anyone 50 years and older. Although someone who has just turned 50 may not consider themself to be a senior citizen, Seniors Discounts has an ever growing number of business willing to offer people 50 years and upwards a discount for shopping with them.

Please Note: Some of the discounts available through Seniors Discounts commence at 60+ years. If you're under 60 you may be unable to use some discounts.

Is there a free newsletter?


Yes. There will continue to be a free monthly newsletter which will include information on discounts and ways for you to save, although this will be a much lighter version of the paid membership. You will be kept up to date with the latest discount offerings, however you will only be able to benefit from the discounts if you're a paying member.

The majority of the Seniors Discounts website will also still remain free to use. The decision will be 100% yours as to whether you become a paying member and take advantage of the additional benefits. The free newsletter may be ideal for the individual who would like to keep up to date with discounts becoming available but without the cost.

How do I pay for annual membership?


Payments can be made using a debit or credit card through a highly secure section of the website. The payment process is simple, even for people who have never made a purchase over the internet before. On completion of the transaction you will receive an email receipt for the transaction, confirming your subscription. You will also receive a copy of the subscription’s terms and payment details.

Payment by cheque or postal order is not available at this time. The main reason being Seniors Discounts is currently operated and managed by myself, Daniel Wilson, I don’t have a team of people to process payments. Offering multiple payment methods (cheque, postal orders, direct debit, etc) may result in a considerable amount of time taken up to process payments rather than sourcing discounts, new deals and improving the services available to you. As Seniors Discounts grows I expect to be able to cater for all types of payments.

Is it safe to make payments over the internet?


Yes as long as you're careful and you trust the website you are purchasing through.

I have never made a purchase on the internet, is it easy?


Making a purchase online is no different to filling out a paper form with a pen. The only difference is you are using your computer to fill in the form. Where are my credit/ debit card details stored?


Your card details and sensitive financial information are stored securely with PayPal. At no stage will Seniors Discounts have access to your payment information. It will remain private at all times.

What personal information is required?


To complete a purchase over the internet you are required to provide basic personal information to verify your identity. Such information includes name, address, valid email address, telephone and payment details. PayPal will not sell or rent any of your personally identifiable information to third parties. Yes. Seniors Discounts offers a 100% risk-free guarantee. Become a member of Seniors Discounts and if at any stage within 60 days you would prefer to cancel your membership just contact us and your money will be refunded.

How do I renew my membership subscription?


To simplify the payment process your nominated credit or debit card will be billed automatically 12 months from the date you joined. If your card expires or is changed during the year you will be sent an email highlighting how you can renew your membership when it is due.

How do I cancel my membership subscription?


When you become a member you will be able to access your profile using your username and password. Your profile will contain basic information including your name, address and details of your subscription. Within your profile there will also be a link you can use to cancel your membership at any time. Log in to your profile page.
