Beat that Quote helps you save money on living expenses

When you reach ‘beat tha…’ Google tells you eleven million people went on to ask for ‘beatthatquote’. It’s a good indication that this is a company playing hardball. Even the name says

a lot – it says ‘we exist to undercut everyone else’. The business model is fairly simple – all the insurers in the relevant sector can’t stand them until they realise they can’t do without them!

Then they still can’t stand them, but they register all their products. What is less simple is how it’s done. Rather like a marketplace at packing up time those insurers who have had a quiet month can lower everything to snaffle some business at low margins. So it really is bound to deliver good deals to the consumer, and on a huge range of sectors.

Beatthatquote offer deals on life insurance, car insurance, home insurance, gas providers, electricity providers, loans... The list just seems to go on and on. Of course, they can do it because they aren’t underwriting any of the risks, they’re just passing on the deal and taking a percentage but it does make them an amazing one-stop shop.

In terms of the processes the site is, as you would expect, tremendously professional. Usability has been put top of the list and it’s intuitive and simple. They have followed the odd trend for “Twittery” type forums, but much of the content isn’t even about insurance (see “when cheese gets its photo taken, what does it say?” as a good example).

We can expect to see and hear a lot more from this company, too, since they’ve just agreed an £8 million marketing deal to promote them even more relentlessly.
