Age Concern gas and electricity tariff is supplied by energy company E.ON, which is currently used by over 200,000 people 60 years and older living in the United Kingdom.




Once you become an Age Concern gas customer you are guaranteed a cold weather payment of £10. You may also receive an additional amount based upon the number of days the temperature is below freezing between December and February. The payment will be made each year in March and will not affect the Winter Fuel Payment offered by the Government.

For the year 2007 – 2008 Age Concern gas customers received a cold weather payment of £10.50. This equated to approximately £2 million in cold weather payments being sent to customers.

The cold weather payment is only available to Age Concern gas customers. If you sign up for just electricity you will not receive the rebate.
