For your free business listing to appear on Seniors Discounts please adhere to the guidelines below.

Remember - The more appealing your ad, the more potential clicks you will receive


Your ad should be:

  • Clear and well written
  • Free of spelling mistakes (and CAPITALS)
  • Create excitement and interest
  • Include benefits which appeal to people over 50 years
  • Include a call to action or a reason for the user to visit your business or website

The Discount


Your business name and discount will be the first pieces of information displayed to a potential customer. Make sure your discount stands out from the competition by creating excitement.

Be imaginative and experiment with different types of discounts and promotions. As many seniors are time flexible you could offer a significant discount outside your peak times. For example, 25% off Tuesdays – 10am to 12pm. This is just one of many discounts you can test.

Start big and build interest. By offering a sizeable discount from the start you will build awareness and interest in both your products and business. Over time you can test other discounts to see what delivers the best results.

Remember: If you offer a standard 10% discount you will more than likely see a standard response

 

Expiry Date


To create urgency and excitement we recommend you include an expiry date. As your discount gets close to expiring it will move to the top of its chosen category giving your business greater exposure.

We will inform you by email when your discount expires so you can extend your current offer or test a new discount. Once you have updated your discount it will be displayed on the Seniors Discounts homepage to increase awareness of your latest offer.

Summary


The summary allows you to create a brief introduction for your business. In 2-3 sentences create a call to action or a reason for the user to visit your business.

Description


In the description you can build on the information outlined in your summary to highlight the benefits of your products, services and business in general. Make sure you have:

  • Clearly explained your product or service
  • Outlined the action you wish a reader to take – Phone call, online purchase or store visit

 

Website address (URL)


Choose a destination URL for your ad that takes visitors directly to the page that outlines your discount or the action you want them to take. If people don’t find what you have promised in most instances they will leave your website and never return.
