We believe it is important for you to know a little bit about the people behind Seniors Discounts. So please take a minute to read on.

Seniors Discounts has been set up by myself, Daniel Wilson.

The original idea surfaced a number of years ago while teaching my mum how to use a computer and the internet. As she honed her computer skills I started to realise there was a growing number of people, just like my mum jumping online to look for information, purchase products and seek information.

That seed of an idea was launched as a hobby called Seniors Discounts in July 2006. An online location where people over 50 could take advantage of age specific discounts and money saving advice. Roll forward to today and we have a thriving community of people 50 plus enjoying the benefits of saving money.

A Community Based Website

Seniors Discounts continues its march towards being a community based website, where myself and the members of Seniors Discounts work together for the benefit of the community. What I mean by this is it will always remain free to its members, however to do this it will require a small amount of effort from each member to help spread the word - whether it being telling a friend about Seniors Discounts, informing us of a seniors discount or offer in their local area or going further by requesting a discount from a local business and then letting us know. By us working together and all putting in a little bit of effort the savings for all could be tremendous.
